Welcome to English I! I look forward to an exciting year in the English classroom. In this class, we will focus on a variety of literature sources, including a novel, several short stories, and plays. Writing will focus on grammar and mechanics, which will be demonstrated in the papers and essays that you will write. Listening and speech techniques will be learned and utilized in speeches, as well as group projects and prsentations. Vocabulary and journaling will also be daily activities.
